IT'S NOT ABOUT ME.

BUT THIS IS. 

I’ve written for big brands and small ones. Famous brands and hope-to-be-famous ones. I’ve written for television and I’ve written emails. I’m not picky, I just love to write. And my experience makes me a valuable addition to the development of any brand.

 

My name is Kevin Roddy and I am an industry-leading copywriter, creative director and CCO. But, importantly, I'm an artist in the world of business—I understand business and can talk about its issues, but I also know how to translate it into understandable, engaging humanity that connects brands to people.

 

I have worked with many of the world’s great brands at some of the world’s most respected creative agencies including BBH/New York, Fallon/New York, and Riney/San Francisco. Throughout my career I have been recognized and awarded for creative excellence, innovation, and leadership around the world.

In addition to my creative leadership roles I am a copywriter and, as such, I've been recognized for creative excellence throughout my career. Twice I have been ranked in the world's top three of Boards Magazine’s “Top 10 Copywriters Worldwide” list, and I have won almost every major creative award in the world several times over.

 

My work is also included in the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) permanent collection.

NOTEABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Helped lead the creation and development of a one-hour television series on MTV for Unilever’s AXE called, “The Gamekillers.”

  • Helped lead the innovative launch of a new Oasis album, “Dig Out Your Soul,” via street musicians on the streets of New York City.

  • My work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.

  • Twice named in the top 3 of Boards Magazine’s “Top 10 Copywriters Worldwide.”

  • Once named in Boards Magazine’s “Top 10 Creative Directors Worldwide.”

  • Named to Creativity Magazine’s “Creative 50: The Most Creative People.”

  • Featured in the book, “The Creative Process Illustrated.”

  • The only person in advertising history to win The One Show’s “Best of Show” award, twice (The One Show is advertising's equivalent to the Academy Awards).
